Sequence (Straight)
A sequence of three or more cards of the same suit, in ascending order, is considered a valid combination. The longest sequence takes precedence over shorter sequences.
Special Situations
Three of a Kind (Trio)
If a player holds three cards of the same rank, they can play them as a trio. This combination beats any single card or pair.
At the start of the game, the dealer shuffles the deck and deals 13 cards to each player. The remaining cards are placed face-down in the center of the playing area, forming the draw pile.

Tien Len Southern is played with a standard 52-card deck, excluding the Jokers. The ranking of the cards, from highest to lowest, is as follows: 3, 2, A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4.
